Man injured after gang attack in house

A shooting incident at a house on the Wicklow-Carlow border last night is being investigated.
It is understood that a gang of up to six people shot the victim in the arm before tying him up.
The man in his early 30s suffered facial injuries and what is believed to have been a gunshot wound to his arm
The incident happened at about 10pm last night when they broke into the house in the Hacketstown area.
It is understood the man was in the house by himself at the time.
He managed to free himself and raise the alarm. He is currently in Naas General Hospital.
