Is there no end to the bribery and corruption in Sport.?

The NOTW paid £150,000.00 for info on the way the Pakistan v England Cricket match was fixed. Apparently
the Pakistan Team were paid to bowl " wide" and step over the line at precise moments in the match.
This was the last Test match played at Lords.

It puts a blight on the game forever now and the Heroic performances of Trott and Broad will obviously be
questioned.

It is sad Panda that any sport is ruined by cheating whether individual or a team game, but I don't see how it can be stopped while there is big money being offered to greedy and already overpaid players.

It's off topic but the Tour de France highlights the lengths big business and so called 'sportsmen' who are endangering their health will go to in order to win.

I think that this mess will find its way under a VERY BIG RUG.......dont you.

I think a lot of "Sportsmen" will be taking large doses of Loperamide and praying they are not caught up in this scandal. Cheating bastards!

Cheating greedy barstards,i should say as many are already extremely wealthy withought having to try and fiddle the bookies,who on these occasions you could say are usually clever enough to pick up 'odd' betting paterns.

It's probably just the tip of the iceberg and it will never be stopped. No one plays their game or sport for enjoyment as well as for money any more, The professionals whole existence revolves around money, when they already have so much they can't live long enough to spend what they already have.

A fourth Member of the Pakistan Team has been accused, this time of Match Fixing, a far more serious offence.

I can"t help feeling sorry for Amir, an 18 yr old with an amazing bowling talent and a brilliant Career ahead of
him. Since the Captain is involved I suspect Amir was coerced , maybe attracted by the money or too afraid to
got to the Manager.
