The Head of the Tax Dept sees no need to apologise for the gigantic mistake in assessing people"s Tax liabilities
for two years ago , he says it is normal practice to do a reconciliation.........some reconciliation. People who
owe £2,000 will have three months to pay but people who owe £1,600 will have six months to pay!!! This is the
middle of a recession where most people need every penny they can get, not even an offer of so much a week.
