I should think Peter Falk aka Colombo would have been known to millions around the World, I always watched the Programme., even now they are being
shown on ITV.

He died aged 83 of Alzheimers Disease and apparently had no memory of Colombo

I worked with Peter Falk several years ago in a 2 man play at the Geffen Theater. Peter was a very complex man and a very interesting and compelling actor. It was not always easy, but it was always fascinating and worthwhile. We ultimately became good working chums and he was very supportive and complimentary about me and the work. He was one of my Dad's favorite actors of all time. And he never failed to delight me in every single thing I ever had the pleasure of seeing him do. He was also a dedicated and fine artist and loved drawing. I count myself lucky to have known and worked with him. If there are any crimes in the afterlife, Peter is there cracking it wide open right now and doing so with style, humor and several lifetimes worth of charm and talent. RIP.

I loved Colombo! Always watched it as a child. R.I.P. Peter Falk.

According to the News Report this morning Peter had a couple of Awards as a serious Actor before he took on the role of Colombo, the charactor he made
his own. There are many old T.V. programmes being revived with different Actors, I can"t imagine anyone replacing Colombo.

He was brilliant, Panda, and I loved the series. It was so good that people still talk about 'doing a Colombo.' Bye bye and rest in peace now Peter.

I was very sad to here Peter Falk had died. RIP

I watch his programmes all the time - I just love them - I am sad he has gone from us.

I think he lived to a ripe old age,passing the three score years and ten, but the saddest part was that he suffered Alzheimer2s disease and Dementia
and apparently could not remember "Colombo" still loved by viewers after all these years., shame.
