'Super VIP' Child Porn Ring Busted
US law enforcement officials have broken an international child porn ring that elevated members to 'Super VIP' when they uploaded images considered to be the most depraved.
Authorities said 72 bulletin board members of Dreamboard have been charged with participating in the online international network engaged in sexual abuse of children that stretched from North America to Europe, Asia and Africa.
Twenty of the charged individuals remain at large and are known only by their online identities.
US Attorney General Eric Holder and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Operation Delego investigated more than 500 people around the world since the probe was first launched in December 2009.
According to documents released in the probe, members traded tens of thousands of graphic images and videos of adults molesting pre-teen children.
At a press conference at the US Justice Department, the attorney general called the criminal activity a nightmare for the children.
“Dreamboard was a self-described global community of paedophiles dedicated to the relentless victimisation and exploitation of children 12 and under,” Assistant Attorney General Breuer added.
“Using sophisticated methods to evade detection by law enforcement, Dreamboard members allegedly used the power and anonymity of the internet to motivate each other to commit their horrific acts of sexual abuse of minors and trading in child pornography."
Membership was tightly controlled by the bulletin board administrators, who required prospective members to upload child pornography when applying for membership.
Once they were given access, members were required continually to upload images of child sexual abuse in order to maintain membership - those who failed to follow this rule were expelled from the group.
According to court documents, Dreamboard members were divided into groups based on status and ranking with the highest level of membership being 'Super VIP.'
Individuals who obtained that title had created new images of child pornography by molesting children and sharing those images with the board administrators.
The next level below was 'VIP' and individuals in the lowest level of membership were called 'members.'
Those in the lower ranks could only access a limited quantity of child pornography on the bulletin board, and the higher the rank, the more material was available to the member.
Individuals advanced to higher levels of membership by providing child abuse images that the individual had produced, providing a large number of images, or providing images that had never been seen before.
Officials said the bulletin board included rules of conduct printed in English, Russian, Japanese and Spanish.
Dreamboard members spanned five continents and 13 countries have been arrested outside the US, including two of the five lead administrators of the board.
Those countries include Canada, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Germany, Hungary, Kenya, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Qatar, Serbia, Sweden and Switzerland.

I think they should all be castrated with rusty knives, no anesthetic, no medical care, just left to die a slow painful death.

I know, someone with 5 kids could be living next to one of these people thinking they are just a lovely neighbour. Something is definately wrong when the rights of a peodophile come before the rights of the innocent kids who could come into contact with them.

Presumably they have yet to identify those still at large

This is dreadful and unimaginable that it should have been going on.
I too wish something nasty upon these individuals but they won't do it. For some reason they are released after a prison sentence and then returned into society with minimum control.
