California - Charles Duan Hamilton Sentenced to 141 Months in Prison for Sex Trafficking of a Minor
United States Attorney Laura E. Duffy announced that Charles Duan Hamilton was sentenced today in federal court in San Diego by the Honorable William Q. Hayes to serve 141 months in custody and 10 years of supervised release following his release from prison based on Hamilton’s conviction for one count of sex trafficking of a minor, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1591. Hamilton entered his guilty on November 9, 2010. The Court also ordered Hamilton to pay $3,200.07 in restitution to the minor female victim.
According to court records, Hamilton admitted that between April and June 2010, he recruited, transported and offered a 16-year-old female minor for prostitution in San Diego County and elsewhere. He was arrested on June 25, 2010 in Seattle, Washington.
