Circumstances: Mariam left Newcastle to visit friends in the Glasgow area and has not returned home. She is originally from Somalia and is described as slim build, 5'3 tall with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes.

Mariam Ashraff was last seen in Newcastle upon Tyne on 9th March 2009, aged just 14-years-old and has not been heard from since.

Concerns were raised when Mariam failed to return home from visiting friends in Glasgow and it is thought she may have headed to London.

There is a great concern for Mariam due to her age and she is urged to get in touch with someone to let them know she is OK.

Mariam is originally from Somalia and is 5ft 3in tall with brown eyes and long black hair.
