An article in today's Daily Telegraph refers to an upsurge in UK Citizens being served with European Arrest Warrants and claims that they are now being used for non-serious crimes.
Odd, then, that McCann and Healy were never subjected to this procedure for Abandonment, let alone anything else.
Perhaps the Amaral libel Case will throw up enough grounds for a change of heart? ie A Civil suit leading to a re-energised PJ Criminal enquiry?
