What will Kate Middleton be wearing over Christmas

It's going to be quite the fashion parade this festive season.

Kate Middleton will spend her first Christmas with the royal family this year, at Sandringham Palace.

And it's estimated she'll need a whopping five outfits a day to see her through the holiday.

An expert on royal etiquette told New York Magazine that Kate will need
"a casual outfit for breakfast, a smart outfit - and a hat - for the
morning church service, a dress for lunch, a cocktail dress for early
evening drinks and a full-length dress for the evening meal".

We're exhausted just thinking about it.

Being the sensible girl that she is, however, Kate already seems to have
picked up a few of her outfits, having been spotted shopping everywhere
from Zara to Mulberry.

As well as her usual thrifty high-street buys, there are reports that
she's also been treating herself to some designer showstoppers, and has
placed an order for two Alexander McQueen dresses.

Well, it is the biggest date in the diary since her wedding day, after all.
