Is anyone else surprised how few photos there actually are of Madeleine? For an almost 4 year old there isnt many. I was thinking of my own children and how many I have of them pre 4. Also videos!

Maybe the McCanns have loads but haven't put them on the internet. What would be the reason for uploading loads of photos and videos.

On the other hand, maybe you are right and they don't have any more. We just don't know.

To me it seems that there have been a lot of photos supposedly of Madeleine issued. I say supposedly as I'm not convinced they're all of her, but that's another story. There's an excellent selection on Pamalam's site - http://www.gerrymccannsblogs.co.uk/MADELEINE_PHOTOS.htm

The site has been offline a lot lately so please keep trying if you don't access it at first.

What I do find strange is that there have been so few photos issued from the fateful holiday itself. Allegedly they were there for five days before Madeleine "disappeared" and yet there's just a handful of photos and none of them are of the whole family together.

Pamalam: the site is down now.

If the black and white photos are in the same order as I've seen them before, the very last one looks interesting as it is claimed to show all the McCanns except Amelie in the playground with some of the Tapas group. If there is anyone who can make this image look less like the Black Hole of Calcutta that will be great. There are so few photos taken on the holiday (and none with all the family) that this one needs to be seen.

I only have Internet Explorer and the site is now up and running albeit slowly as Pamalam said. It seems very strange that so few holiday photos have been released by the McCanns and they are all of doubtful authenticity. I'd love to see a clear version of the last one of David Payne's - no number on it but it's the one after number 154. It looks as if the person labelled as Russell has a bag on his head!!!

It would be very interesting to see if the child who is supposed to be Madeleine actually is.

Thinking on there being so few photos from the PDL holiday is obvious - they didnt actually see much of the children - after all they spent most of their time either in the creche or in bed!!!

Now now MarianG you know from Kate's book what a wonderful fun-packed loving every minute holiday she was having with the children! There would according to that version of events have been ample opportunity to take photographs.

As for the infamous photo taken at the poolside, the fact that it didn't appear until after Gerry had made a flying trip back to England speaks volumes about its authenticity.

Have you noticed that there is not one single photo of kate with maddie from the holiday! not one after a week holiday together. And kate tells us how she loved to photo Maddie and how Maddie loves to be photographed!! Even going through all the photos in the PJ files that were retrieved from their cameras, still only a possibility of just one single photo of kate, friends, twins, kids with maddie!

We have a couple dodgy ones with gerry though

This proves 100% and without any shred of doubt that photoshopping does go on with their photo releases. Which way round is it in this Last Photo picture? On closer analyse, the Powerpoint photo has a 'blur' around Maddie which suggests she has been pasted in, or perhaps Amelie and gerry have been removed as the background behind Maddie is also heavily blurred. Looking closer still, the green weeds to the right of Maddies arm is the same, the edge of the pool where Amelie was seems to have gone, and the shadow above the wall from the sun lounger has gone as has also the end of the sun lounger itself

If the original of this photo was just gerry on his own with Maddie, Amelie and the sun lounger immediately behind gerry pasted in, we can also use the results of a software App called Photo Police, which shows on photos that have been photoshopped. The grey areas are parts of the picture in which the photo has not been photoshopped and is in the original, the colours/images are the ones that have been. I give the benefit of the doubt to this software and it has produced interesting results

There is the mobile phone footage (infamous for charm school reject Gerry's eff off comment) in which the whole family is seen together but there are doubts about when and where that was taken. No surprise there!

I wish the PJ had released in the files the ORDER in which all the photos were taken in so we could see if the last photo really was the last one, l don't think they were??

I took it to mean that both Amelie and Madeleine were shopped in, being the only bits that weren't greyed out. But I've probably misinterpreted it. I'm not the brightest spark when it comes to photography.

I am one who does not believe in all the photo shopping theories surrounding many of Maddie's photos. However, I agree the alleged very last picture of Maddie may well have some manipulative McCann skulduggery behind it!

There are a few curious things about that photo if you blow it up. From Amelie's left sleeve, filled with an arm, it is clear that her top right arm is missing down to the elbow. This is definitely not because the sleeve is so big, it isn't. There is some blurring on that side too. Either Amelie was pasted in or Gerry imo. More likely Gerry, because he does seem to be floating slightly, his sunglasses are reflecting vertical bars which should be the horizontal side of the pool.

A good thing to look out for in photoshopping is that it's easy enough to paste a head on another body, but you can never make that person take part in that photo. I.e. in quite a few Maddie is looking elsewhere whilst all the others are looking at the camera.
Donegal on the rocks, pool photo, Donegal ice-cream etc.
In many - the one above on the MM logo - the head is wrongly positioned on the body. In August/September an expert went over it on this site. Shoddy job if you blow it up. Fixing a head properly on a neck is an art - both in the above photo and the Donegal rock it's easy to see when you blow it up.

Besides, if you want evidence of photoshopping you have Gerry and Kate's word for it: you could hardly see the coloboma - more like a tiny fleck. So every single one with that feature in it has been photoshopped anyway. Thank you TM.

This is how I see it. I use photoshop and know from my own experiences how easy is to manipulate photos and don't trust any I see on the net no more. If its digital you can do anything you dream of to them

I remember seeing a picture of a bedroom in portugal in which the mccanns were staying, it was the beside locker next to kate's side of the bed, there was a bible and other stuff on it, almost like a little shrine to Madeleine. As far as i recall this was the picture that was on display, the one without gerry and amelie. If anyone can remember where the photo of that bedroom is will you point me in the right direction again please, I would like to ensure I am correct. It showed gerry's side of the roomw which had a computer and "work" related things.

If I am correct it at least shows they were happily photoshopping photos while still in portugal and i really need to ask why would you photoshop a father and sibling out of a "last" photo of a missing child and then place it by your bed ? Why not use the original ?

mossman i have seen that photo of the shrine also! And too thought it strange. A last photo of your family would be so treasured i dont understand why you would want a photoshopped image on display? I undertand it being used in the media as it focuses all attention on Madeleine....I believe it may be on pamalams site.
