I honestly believe 2012 is the year this charade comes to an end, another book to come out, I'm not surprised, this isn't about a follow up its about them raising as much cash as possible befor Maddy is decleared dead, which she will this year after 5years, then how will they go about making money of the back of her then, they can't.

i doubt that many people think about the money that duarte is getting payed.....they just think about carter ruck and the 'no win no fee' ....dont they realise that there money is going on lawyers fees....do the pros think or dont think is better that carter ruck is the only solicitor that the mccanns have and what the mccanns have said about them working for 'nothing' applies to the suing off mr amaral and also to defend that nutter off a lawyer who original said...'she was raped and murdered and thrown into the dam'...his words not mine.

Better still....why the hell hasnt he been sued for saying that when tony is getting sued for saying a good lot less!!!

I agree it is all about raising the cash. The new book can't detail anything from the SY workings. They said that they wouldn't be publishing anything. In no way would they tell anyone, least of all the Mccanns details of their investigation. As from Maddy being declared dead. this move would scupper any further donations from the deluded public, after all no-one would be looking for a dead child. She could only be legally declared dead after May 2014 which would be 7 years after she went missing. A person can only be declared dead after not having been seen alive for 7 years.
