Armageddon in Athens
Now being twittered that none of the ATMs in Athens have any money. Starbucks at Athens Uni is on fire, so are Eurobank and some Govt. offices. Police are struggling to contain 10,000 protesters.

Re: Armageddon in Athens
Thanks Iris, O.K., maybe the Greeks are lackadaisical , not very good at mananaging their budgets but everyone seems to forget that when the Euro
was introduced there was a rule that no Country could go beyond 3% of it's GDP.......Germany and either Italy or France were the first to break the rule.
Without Annual Audits of every Country in the Euro , how can they ensure discipline?
They should have let Greece default 2 yrs ago , instead their borrowing has escalated to such an extent it will take 3 generations of poverty tp get back
into the Black.

Iris, if the Greek Parliament signs on the dotted line the people will destroy everything in sight. They should have been allowed to have a referendum.
Merkel was mad to try to force fiscal control when the World is heading for Recession and growth is the only answer.
