South East in 'Drought' official !

We are officially in a drought in the South East England now having had 40% less rain than usual last month and 20% less throughout the whole of last year.
So expect a hose pipe ban soon even though i dont need it yet though my son was washing the cars yesterday.

that is going to be hard work in the summer if we have the hose pipe ban filling up the watering
cans and walking up and down the garden with them, then refilling them, I guess thats what men are for!! b/f will have to do it while I watch with my coffee

Don't worry , we who payed for the Olympics will die off thirst so those who come to watch it from other countries and who haven't payed a dime in water rates.....can drink our water which we payed for....never mind, we will have to live off mars bars.



I wonder if Africa will hear off our plight and send money to us so we can dig for waterholes ....

I'm going down to Waitrose in the morning to buy up all the bottled water ready for the summer.

Oh don't lioned....its bad enough when snow is forecast two weeks ahead.....you can't get a loaf off bread for love nor money...
