A Fair And Just Outcome
Just a caveat to temper our recent optimism - if the momentum gathers pace and there is apparent progress towards a resolution of the circumstances surrounding Madeleine's disappearance and if that leads to arrests and Criminal Proceedings either in Portugal or England (or both), then we must redouble our own efforts as powerless commentators and never give any Defendant grounds for declaring any Trial unfair.
We know we are considered nutters for daring to have relatively open minds and a non-brainwashed point of view, but the simple fact is clear: We are taken notice of, to some degree - whether in all seriousness, or as the objects of scorn.
So let's carry on debating within the bounds of realism and decency, of which this Forum should rightly be proud, even if apparent cause for celebration hits us right between the eyes.

I second that. We are all intelligent posters and the debates on here are very worthy of reading, which is why we are taken seriously, but I doubt somehow we could in any way affect any future trial. We are not like national newspapers, in fact we have more common sense on here.
