Slow and Slower

It seems as if everything has now ground to a halt. No nearer to finding out what happened to Madeleine than ever. All this tick tock things are happening. What's happening. Not a lot. In fact nothing nothing nothing. When is this going to end.

I agree, things are happening behind the scenes. Also, no news is stopping the McCanns war of spin as they are as much in the dark as we are.

Well, one would hope they are ! I find it hard to believe GM can restrain himself from phoning SY and demanding updates.

I must say that not very much spin has been in the papers for absolutely ages. Gone are the days when the latest witness has come forward remembering a swarthy character lurking around. And no sightings either.

I would like to think that "no news is good news" as opposed to "the quiet before the storm". It's just possible that Kate and Gerry are too exhausted after their run to debut in front of the media again so soon.

As regards the ticking clock - well it's anyone's guess - one day I think we are really going to see justice served and the next day, well, has anyone seen a truck loaded to the hilt with white paint?
