SUMthing dosen't add up.
195 'leads' or just 95 'leads'?
Daily Mirror 5th May 2012.
Speaking on the fifth anniversary, May 5th, of her disappearance as 27 (surely 30 according to Deadwood unless he has 3 'ghost' detectives he hasn't told us about) detectives uncovered 95 potential new leads, (not corrected by McCanns) they said they are hopeful the youngster is alive.
Daily Mirror 27th April 2012
OK, so on the 27th April 2012 DCI Deadwood said that 30 Scotland Yard detectives and 7 backroom staff had uncovered 195 potential new leads while sifting through about 20,000 pieces of information in the case.
The officer leading the review, Det Chief Insp Andy Redwood, said there were 195 “investigative opportunities”.
So that means that between 27th April 2012 and 5th May 2012 one HUNDRED 'leads' have been 'abducted'
the mirror states there are ONLY 95 new 'leads'... so somebody's telling porkies!
Gerry McCann told Martin Runt yesterday that 'the reviews not finished, and let's not forget those investigative opportunities, almost 200, have come from the first 20,000 pages so..........'
10,000 Deadwood....20,000 McCann 195 leads Deadwood and McCann.......95 leads Mirror, not corrected by McCann.
You'd think they'd get their stories straight wouldn't you, like they did in their 'rogs!'
As for the expense of the 'review'
It's been going now for almost 365 DAYS.
So with about 20,257 PAGES having already been gotten through divided by the number days (365) that works out at 55.5 pages a day.
55.5 pages a day divided by number of people on the team (37) we get ................EACH person gets to read 1.5 pages a DAY!
They are so OVER WORKED!
Please take it from me, as read, the COST of reading just 1(one) page by just one person of the super 'review team' is a staggering £98.72p!
But apparently, according to Cameron, we don't have ANY taxpayers money to squander!
Tell THAT to New McCann Yard!
Remind me again. How much has Kerry Needham been 'allocated' for the search for her son?

Zilch, nada, buggar all. In fact she has been lost in the mists of time. Why hasn't a review been ordered on this case? Simple, she doesn't have something on someone influential or who needs to be protected.

Re: SUMthing dosen't add up.
I have to say i am really beginning to wonder if there really is a "TEAM" of officers looking at this case.
It just does not ring true to me at all.

Re: SUMthing dosen't add up.
Congratulations jeanmonroe on your figures.
You have taken 365 days assuming the team worked every day which i presume they didn't. but even if you recalculate on the basis of a 5 day week, you still have very low productivity which isn't believable if that had those numbers on the team and if they were only reviewing files. I suppose you'd have to allow for team meetings and travel to portugal time - which changes the picture a but - but still leaves the question what were these experienced police officers doing?

WASH your mouth out! lol.
A CRACK team as Deadwood has assembled, with money no object, would NEVER EVER take time off from the case!
And Gerry and Kate would probably SUE them if they did!

Re: SUMthing dosen't add up.
Metropolitan Police officers have already found 195 “investigative opportunities” after examining just 25% of the 40,000 items of evidence from the original probe.
Daily Star.
So now we have 195 leads in only 10,000 pages!

I'd say nothing adds up. Nothing I have heard this week makes any sense whatsoever.

Re: SUMthing dosen't add up.
I believe that SY are still DIGGING and investigating, as Deadwood said he visits his Portguese counterpart (she as he refers to her) every month, something isn't right but because the McCanns are been given a false sense of security, imo this is the only way this case can be delt with.....innocent until PROVEN guilty!
Keep talking McCanns....imo it could be the twins that will bring these two down, if not now, when they are teenagers...
They do seem to be making so many mistakes of late, are they nolonger been given any help....

This is the very same drum I have been beating as often as possible for the past week, so let's hope we are right - or at least on the right lines.
