Julian Assange loses appeal in supreme court

This is relevant to the case most people on here are interested in, because he was only asked to return to Sweden to answer sexual assault accusations, by a PUBLIC PROSECUTOR, not by a JUDGE OR A COURT. It is relevant because Assange argued that the latter was necessary to demand his return. It all turned on the English translation of an originally French term... All very esoteric. He will appeal again after his lawyer has had a fortnight to look at the ruling... If it all goes apeshit for him. as it is now expected to... he will appeal to THE EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS... We have been here before in discussing the McCann case... before the holy couples' 'flight into Blighty'. Sorry if I'm offending the religious. I don't myself have a single grain of supernatural belief in my makeup...

Irrespective of the outcome of further appeals it will keep Assange out of circulation for at least another six months or even a year - job done.

I dont have any interest in what happens to Assange after hearing that he actually supports the McCanns and feels sorry for them, or something like that I believe.

I wouldn't go that far as I have been following the court cases & think the Swedes only want him over there to extradite him to US (who really want Assange).From what I gather there isn't much of a case in Sweden apart from a lady prosecutor who has moved heaven & earth to get him there (or that was the case last year anyway).

I agree with you Lillyofthevalley though he didn't do himself any favours by comparing his case to the McCanns. All I can think is Assange doesn't read wikileaks on Madeleine case or the police files.

Is that what is was gilly, I thought he was probably jumping onboard the "sucking up to Mccanns boat" look what a nice guy I am feeling sorry for the two docs.
