So what is the purpose of this video?

Apart from showing a group of folks with a big fat cheque, that is (hint, hint).

'Thanks for the dosh and send us some more', more like ...

But apart from that, this meagre offering, as they would say in my neck of the woods, is 'neither nowt nor summat'.

Madeleine's parents gave up on her when they went out, night after night, leaving her alone with her siblings. They also gave up on her when they sat on their bums and did not search for her on the night she disappeared. Then they decided that the rest of the world should look for their daughter and give them loads of dosh to pay legal fees, their mortgage and to hire dodgy detectives.

Thank you for sending all that dosh so the McCanns can live in the style they have become accustomed to.

The fact is that when appealing for money from the public they did not state it was going to be spent
on mortgage payments, hotel expenses, money for lawyers etc., In my opinion that is clear deception
of the public, many of whom may have donated who couldnt really have afforded to do so. The appeal for help was not transparent, and was not honest. The fact that this fund has continually been marketed as a charity with numerous examples of how they are trying to give the impression that it is a charity, means imo this fund needs to be investigated. Added to that the accounts show the majority of funds raised have not been spent on looking for Madeleine.

Brian Kennedy (uncle) does state in the clip below (around 1.45) that an appeal had not been made for money but something needed to be set up for the unsolicited donations that were coming in. That could actually be true but we can only wonder why at that early stage he felt that most of the money would go on legal expenses.

For me the most telling part of this clip is Eileen McCann's comment that Gerry's spirits had been lifted by the fund getting under way! I know that if my child had gone missing, I wouldn't be thinking about money.

Thanks McCanns for showing the people of the UK that thought everything in the garden was rosy that it is full of corruption.

Kate will be pressuring the govt for more money to be made available for charities like hers. She'll need a bigger purse.

Yes NBY, Brian Kennedy said he thought most of the money would be spent on Legal Fees. That interview was 17th May , 2 weeks after Madeleine
disappeared and was called a Fund with Chairman and Directors appointed, Bank, Merchandise ordered, Paypal set up etc but even at this early stage
he said the money would be used for Legal Fees.....not searching for Madeleine !!!!!

I'm truly feeling evil towards the McCanns and the way they have conned all the Donors and children in particular making cakes etc to sell and race
nights, ordinary people who by Nov/Dec had donated over £1 million pounds. As the Daily Mail pointed out when the accounts to March 2008 were
released , only 13.3 % was spent on searching for Madeleine.
