Is Tony Blair trying to be PM again.?????
Former Prime Minister Tony Blair has accepted 'some responsibility' for the state of Britain's economy.
Mr Blair also admitted he had not fully understood the impact economic integration would have.
But he also said a 'vibrant' financial sector was important for the UK, an apparent warning to Labour party leader Ed Miliband who wants Britain's banks dramatically reined in.
"In respect of the economy, yes, of course, everybody who was in power in the period bears a certain responsibility," he told Sky News' Dermot Murnaghan.
"On the other hand I think what happened, and this is really important for people to understand, this global financial crisis was the product of a whole new way that the financial and banking sector has been working in this past 20 or 30 years.
"(It is) where you have got this deep integration of the global economy and where you have a lot of financial instruments that were created whose impact people didn't properly understand."
Asked if that meant Labour did not fully understand it while he was in power, Mr Blair replied: "No, we didn't."
He added: "A vibrant financial sector is also a very important part of our future. Take the necessary steps but realise that thriving and healthy banking sector is a major part of the modern British economy and will also be so."

Blair hasn't gone anywhere unfortunately. He is now advising Miliband and has expressed interest in returning to UK politics. Not because he has any interest in helping the people of the UK, but as a stepping stone to becoming EU President. Just another one on the gravy train.

I have some bad news for you, Blair has not gone, he has been appointed as advisor to Miliband's Labour, can you believe it ? but it's true he is on the pay roll of the Labour Party, rubbing salt into our wounds, Blair's name also brings the same emotions out of me, to think he destroyed our livelihoods, fleeced our pockets, sent our brave soldiers on a journey of no return, yet he has a valid first class ticket to luxury beyond anyone's dreams and he comes back to rub our faces, Blair couldn't do his job for us but he can fill his pocket working for the contacts he made millions for, I class Blair side by side with the Syrian leader that's killing his people for his own gain, and to SKY for paying Blair for his interview shame on you.

I cannot for the life of me, as a businessman myself, understand why anyone would pay to listen to the self-serving drivel this bloodsucker utters.
If my business makes a cockup, it's my fault, either for getting it wrong or not checking what's going on.
Why are politicians, bankers et al so different?
Keep this obnoxious cretin out of our lives.
What makes this snake in the grass think anyone is remotely interested in his opinions, do us all a favour Blair and get uinder the nearest rock.

Can't he have the good grace like that other numpty prudence & just disappear.
When will we hear either of them again ?? Er, rough guess when they have to recant on the fact that Lisbon treaty they signed us up to was, in hindsight, a mistake also, its easy after the event, but they won't have to suffer it's consequences. 2014 will be interesting.
Just his picture evokes anger in me.

Blair, even the mention of his name evokes anger and emotions of despair. Thank God he is gone.

Re: Is Tony Blair trying to be PM again.?????
Well isn't he Mr Popular? Love the comments I think they are spot on. If he is thinking of going for the EU presidency again they will stitch him up like they did the last time. Fortunately this time he will not be able to stitch us up and sell us out like he did the last time he set his sights on on it. Wont stop him trying though!
I love that comment about get back to the middle east with your corrupt money . Just Love it
