GENERATION MIGHT BE UNABLE TO BUY HOMES.

PENSIONS COULD BE UNAFFORDABLE FOR TAXPAYERS IN THE FUTURE.
YOUNG PEOPLE MIGHT BE UNABLE TO FUND PENSIONS.
EVEN IF THERE WAS A GROWTH SPURT TOMORROW,GOVERNMENT BORROWING WILL STILL INCREASE MASSIVELY.

Is it in 'Zeitgeist' right at the beginning that it is explained that the US was bankrupt in the twenties and never got out of it. That the gold standard was dropped and from that moment on consumers were the currency?
That feminism was encouraged and women were given jobs because they would then be paying tax? That the extended family was discouraged and the 'nuclear family' was invented, a concept which sold more fridges and more of everything where before such luxuries were shared?
