OMG! He says his brakes failed and that is what caused the accident, but he was backing onto the pavement, not into the road, as he should of been.
My mother-in-law was a terrible driver as she got older, eventually her daughters sold her car so she couldn't drive it. She knew she was a danger but insisted on driving!
