Edgar and Cowley "top search team" is abducted

The "we need money for search" team is no longer. Their annual income was 8 £. Wow... paid by mccann "search Fund". Guess, better 8£ search (past) than no search (present)

Was Edgar part of this company?
Does he now work alone?
Is he no longer 'on the case'?
So many questions, so few answers!

The loss of this dynamic duo is an absolute disaster!
Here's a reminder of their expertise.

It's right at the end of this clip (around 9.25) then continues in part 2 which you'll find on the right hand side.

Remind me. Is anybody looking for Madeleine now. This isn't very clear at all. Presumably the Review team aren't searching. They're just looking through evidence. What was that about great progress being made. What progress is that exactly. It's a mystery!

Love it where Cowley says, "It's a jigsaw puzzle". Very profound

Who has got the missing pieces though. That's the real question.

Re: Edgar and Cowley "top search team" is abducted
Or perhaps the real question is, "Who keeps claiming that there are pieces missing - and why?"

Maybe if they could find the lid from the box to this jigsaw then they might be able to see from the pieces they have which are the pieces missing. I think the jigsaw is complete but they don't want to show anyone.

Re: Edgar and Cowley "top search team" is abducted
worth a read...

The public have been told that they should buy Dr Kate McCann’s new book, due out on 12 May, in order to ‘continue the search for Madeleine’. Dr McCann has said that the book could ‘raise £1 million’, which she and the McCann Team say would pay for Dave Edgar and his ‘team of detectives’ to continue looking for Madeleine for a further two years.
Despite much publicity and hype about Edgar’s ‘Alpha Investigations Group’ in May 2009, in fact the company being referred to was actually called ‘ALPHAIG’. It was not registered until after May - on 10 June 2009. Despite claims that Edgar, or Edgar and a colleague, Arthur Cowley, run ALPHAIG, it is a company wholly owned by Arthur Cowley. The registered address of the company, ‘Treetops’, in the remote Flintshire hamlet of Pant-y-Gof, is a property situated down a remote farm track and cul-de-sac, which may be unoccupied. ALPHAIG has no web presence, and does not give out any contact details. Its summary accounts, released in January this year, revealed inter alia that it had fixed assets worth just £630, hardly the kind of assets associated with a significant private investigations company.

Re: Edgar and Cowley "top search team" is abducted
Talking of jigsaw puzzles, that was the theme at one time on the home page of the Find Madeleine website; pieces of a jigsaw which made up a photo of her but with one piece missing. Perhaps the Dynamic Duo collaborated with Team McCann on that idea. Money well spent indeed for their services!
The comment which always made me smile because of its irony "It's never too late to do the right thing" also appears to have been removed.

Incisive - searing intelligence! 'made arrangements to go and see somebody who's given a good description'. That comedy duo - I'd love to think all this was taking place in HQ Alphaig, a simple farmhouse in Wild Wales, far away from any mobile phone mast or internet provider. No satellite disc to be seen either. I take it that the farmhouse was either rented or used as a postal address. The owner might be a friend or a relative. This is all just guesswork but it's how these 'small businesses' often work.
Goodness Kermit! I'm not as tough as Miss Piggy and I've seen this damn video three times this week, I'm getting symptoms....

It really isn't. It is a most inept exposé. IMO a classic case of adding 2 plus 2 and getting 64. It is much more likely the company was purely a service company for one of the investigators and used as a conduit for his fees.

The exposé or the company? If the former I would question what purpose is served by woolly thinking and conjecture other than to question the "research" and highlight the author's lack of understanding of how businesses can operate and the meaning/content of abridged accounts.

I came through Heathrow a few weeks back and must confess to my eternal shame I didn't even think about looking.MaryB wrote:Remind me. Is anybody looking for Madeleine now. SY haven't made up there mind yet if she is alive or dead.
When they do decide it could be an abduction, they will start looking..perhaps in 2016?

Remember folks, Kate was working full time with the Detectives. I think their Office was one rented/loaned by Kennedy in Cheshire/Chester?
Anyway, it couldn't have been that far away because Kate used to drive there and there is a video of her in the Office with the Detectives looking busy. There was a comment by Pat which is interesting , he says "I will never reveal what Kate has told me".
The appointment of these two was another example of Kennedy recruiting Detectives not fit for purpose.

The sort who are prepared to find what their employer wishes to find, even if it means looking the other way.
