Hiding a body
I have heard many many times people saying ' the McCanns can't have done it, they wouldn't have had time to hide the body so well that it couldn't be found'....
Well, the man charged with Aprils murder was arrested pretty soon after she went missing and he obviously managed to hide her little body pretty well. There have been thousands of man hours spent looking for her so far.
I'm not convinced that the facts around April are fully established yet, and wouldn't me at all surprised if there were more arrests.

Re: Hiding a body
That's a very good point RA with regard to the speed of disposal. Personally, I am thinking now that there may be more than one person involved.

And we don't know when exactly she died. There is no credible statements that somebody saw her 3th of may.

Re: Hiding a body
And the suspect has been charged with murder
without the discovery of a body.So I would
suggest that certain aspects of this case maybe
of particular interest to Dr Gerry and Co......

Hiding a body?
1) Dismember and place in a freezer Dispose of in rubbish bins, bit by bit.
2) Load into holdall, add bricks from building site and dispose of in the sea.
3) Use fairly new grave and add the body

Re: Hiding a body
If the man in the holdall could fit in it then I'm quite sure a small child can

The police seem to believe that April Jones' body has travelled down the river and has drifted into the sea approx 5 miles along. And once in the sea there are sea creatures who may see a human body as a meal. I know it sounds horrible but not every body that's been in the sea washes up on a shore somewhere. There has been a recent incident where a seal came into contact with a dog who was swimming to retrieve an item thrown to it in the sea, and the seal made a meal of the dog (I cannot dwell on that thought for too long I'm afraid - too upsetting).
What the cases of April and Madeleine both have in common is the sea. Both little girls disappeared close to seaside areas.
I am now very inclined to think that both little girls are in the sea and not especially do I believe they are weighted down. After all, weighted down means a diver might find the body, as it will not move so easily from where it settles, but a lifeless body just thrown into the sea would travel a very long distance in choppy waters.
And the longer a body has been under water, the less chance of discovering from it cause of death, as a body under water decomposes alot quicker I would have thought. Plus, as I have already said, it would make a welcome meal for seals, sharks and whatever other creatures live below the waves.
The speed with which both girls have been disposed of makes me believe not much thought was put into their disposal. Just tossed into the sea is what I think.

Re: Hiding a body
This is what somebody else has written in response to the seal/dog incident in Aberdeenshire:
Seems the dog was retriving ducks that the dog's owner had shot. It is the hunting season in Scotland.
Somebody else made the point that over-fishing of our coastal waters has made seals extra hungry.
"I have just read a more detailed report on this attack and it sounds horrific. This isn't the first dog that's been attacked and they weren't all hunting. The seals have even attacked people. Sign posts had been put up to warn people but had been vandalised

Re: Hiding a body
I cannot help thinking, wrong of me perhaps I do realise that, but if Ben Needham is found after digging up this mound outside the Kos property, then it means he was hidden, albeit it might have been accidental, but hidden all the same within minutes of being outside on his own and if he's there its taken all this time to locate him. If he's found, and I hope he is, this may prove that it only takes seconds for someone to seemingly disappear off the face of the earth. More so when a family is so certain their child is missing through abduction, because if the family are wrong, whether they say this on purpose or whether its their firm genuine belief, it is this assertion that can potentially throw a missing person enquiry completely off course because it may be a red herring, intentional or not.
