An uplifting Story of a dog and his Master.

This is nothing to do with the McCanns but proof that dogs don't need to be "guided" when searching .

I have just watched a report about a dog named Theo who was trained to find bombs in Afghanistan. The soldier , Liam Tasker and the dog were inseperable and it showed scenes of them working in rubble and Theo ran quite a distance, started sniffing and barking and was never wrong in finding bombs. Unfortunately Liam was killed and a few hours later Theo died, there was nothing wrong with him it is thought he died of a broken heart.

Liam was awarded a medal for Bravery and now Theo has been awarded with a medal for his unerring ability to sniff out bombs.

Such a sad story but at least the two off them are together, forever .

Yes, I remember this when it happened.
So happy to see Theo awarded with medal for his fantastic work.
