Re: Gerry McCann calls on MPs
Don't think he'll live that long, he looks terrible. Actually he looks drunk. It's the eyes. Kate no better in recent pictures, they both have aged rapidly.

They havn't got a hope in Hell interested .
Charlotte doesn't have the Political Nous and Gerry loses his temper too much and has little personality , not enough to get people to vote for him.

As if the Labour party doesn't have enough problems without those two adding to them. Presumably they'd both be labour.

No other Party would want them MaryB, Charlotte's popularity has waned and Gerry hasn't got a personality

Well Gerry can make all the noise he wants, but now that the enquiries spun off from Savile are looking at an alleged Paedophile Ring associated with Senior Personnel surrounding a Former Prime Minister, the hold Gerry may have - and the influence which has hitherto protected him - is likely to disappear.
Two birds with one stone: Catch a few more Paedophiles and clear the way for Justice for Madeleine.

Wonder if the former PM advisor is John Majors, certainly close strong connections right to the Symingtons/OC there

Unlikely to be John Major - he's much more partial to a hot Currie.

I think it's Gordon Brown......wasn't he the one who interfered in the Portugese investigation?

Not John Major himself but his close advisor, they said it was a former PM advisor
The first call gerry mccann made on the night of the crime was to Alistair Clark, a good friend from University days and a diplomat close to Gordon Brown

The Portugese Prosecutor asked a Judge if the phone calls could be used in a Trial, the Judge said it would be too intrusive. If the calls related to Madeleines' disappearance I can't understand the refusal.......very strange !!!!!

ah just what would the intrusion be and for whom? ive always thought it related to the McCs, but the intrusion may relate to someone else. just a thought.

Perhaps if the calls were made public someone may be browned off about that!

I don't know tanszi , I suppose if Gerry was talking to Gordon Brown or Tony Blair they would not want their names mentioned in a Trial but think the Prosecutor had evidence from the calls that proved the McCanns were implicated in Madeleine's disappearance or he wouldn't have wanted the calls used as evidence.

Ah, apologies - I misunderstood!
And you're spot on mentioning Clark - I think his role was crucial re McCann cause.

- and that call was made before 24.00 on the third. Possibly around 11.00 p.m. when Gerry was overheard to be talking on the phone and saying it was a paedophile gang who took her. The person who overheard this was a British man, McKenzie. it's in the PJ files.
However, neither that call nor the one to Clark was on the mobile, all calls before 2400 3/5 were deleted by the McCanns, probably just before the PJ turned up.
Strange priority if your child has just been taken by paedos. Unless it was more important to delete those calls than looking for your child.

Re: Gerry McCann calls on MPs
2 ordinary parents on holiday in a foreign country with friends
* Leave their children unattended every night hardly able to see the apartment whilst they boozed it up
* On discovering one has gone missing, leave the other 2 on their own to be snatched too
* Lie to everyone about how the child was taken with the shutters being smashed when they were not even touched
* Rip up the childs favourite sticker book and write down 2 conflicting timelines
* Phone all friends possible back in the UK, friends from childhood, old friends from uni, even priests back in the UK
* First call to ambassador friend in the UK of the incoming Prime Minister
* Delete all calls from their mobile phones
* Allow everyone to walk all over the apartment before contacting the police, then blame the police for it
* No concern that their other 2 children are sleeping right through all the loud noisy commotion
* Ring Sky news and BBC
* Use a picture from a year previous of their missing child looking different when they had a photo taken earlier in the day looking current
* Ability to produce posters on photographic paper not available to purchase in the area within 60 mins and at 10pm at night
* Despite knowing the missing child had severe sleep problems and kept waking up, first and only reason for missing child is a paedo abduction ring!
* Don't search for their missing child themselves. Say in their bewk they did but contradict in TV interviews that they didn't
Actions of parents who have just discovered their child has gone missing?

Says it all jd16.
They had the photos printed on the printer of a British Staff member at PDL , the Ocean Club said their Printer did not print that size.

Re: Gerry McCann calls on MPs
Good summary JD16. The second photo (with Kate looking like a contender for Horse of the Year) was taken last year I think in Amsterdam, not within a few days of Madeleine's "disappearance".
Welcome back, by the way. Long time, no "see".

Thanks NBY (and Panda). Yes the 2nd photo was taken in Amsterdam on the launch of the bewk there. I included it with the ones from the immediate aftermath because its this one they tried to have banned i.e. not show them happy and show their true colours, they only want misery ones published. I believe in the truth and this is the truth of how they really felt
Baring in mind the public nor police had a clue of what Maddie looked liked at the time she disappeared...Why didn't they release immediately and use for the posters the one they took only hours before and was on their camera for the world to search? (Picture below), didn't they want her found?...Why release an old looking different out-of-date photo that was so marketable instead?
Why was this photo taken only hours before not released until a further 3 weeks later! this is absolutely massive time in a missing child case. They blame the PJ for being slow but what about them!! 21 days to release this photo
Oh I forgot this wasn't on their camera's...
