A bit far fetched? Who knows what Obama has in store. He is, I believe seriously hated across vast areas of the US and one can only wonder how he has managed to avoid following in Kennedy's footsteps...

I'm not sure about its being far-fetched. I wouldn't be surprised if there were to be another major incident as Obama was trying to get his changes through Congress. As for his fate? Well, if the people holding the real power decide they've had enough of him, he could just end up as a martyr to a 'lone gunman,' just like JFK.

I agree Anna, the 'far fetched' bit I referred to was the 'dirty bomb' suggestion... other than that, US politics does seem to bear serious resemblance to street fighting and perhaps another few innocent lives lost to score brownie points wouldn't go amiss.
