Interesting comparisons indeed.

Prior to the dismantling of the fantasy images woven by Jimmy Savile and Lance Armstrong - apologies for lumping them together, the latter's activities are nowhere near as bad as the former's - there were grounds for looking at the McCanns and thinking that they had to be blameless as nobody could keep up such a brazen pretence for so long and, perhaps more importantly, be protected by other people who knew or suspected the truth.

Now we know without a doubt that it is possible to get away with murder (metaphorically speaking) for years on end, thanks to having the right contacts and / or a bullying personality.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought "oooohhhh! A Reggie Dunlop production, they are always excellent value for money!" and I wasn't disappointed. Well done Reggie

I'm going to have to ask who Reggie Dunlop is, I'm afraid! I can't find anyone relevant with that name on the Internet.

He used to be on the old 3As NBY, his specialities were making videos and some particularly wonderful Photoshop creations. Reggie was also the one who first spotted the Ibiza Airport photo and exposed the Brazil "sighting" for the clumsy hoax that it was.

Yes, I can't think that Reggie would be quiet and not posting somewhere. He was always very passionate about the case and quite outspoken, IIRC.

What's so good about this is that it allows Joe Public to see things in an entirely new light by challenging their own perceptions - perceptions which have been moulded, created even, by audacious villains, their like-minded hangers-on and those paid to hide their misdemeanours and activities by any means, including foul ones. It will be an eye-opener for many a fence-sitter.

Noticed the word 'untouchable' was used a few times - and quite appropriate, given that The Untouchables was the title of Eliot Ness's memoir. For what is this if not the behaviour of swaggering mobsters and the trickery of those who obscure their dirty work?

That`s what gives all narcisists away - they have their heads in the sand and don`t realise their bottoms are still showing - they really believe people can`t suss them out - its as if they`ve got a part of their brains missing, the part that has no awareness of their own behaviours.
