I saw a White van today , shall I report it to SY?


So the 'Madeleine lookilike' show is over.....in comes 'White van' show now.....have i got this right?

Just noticed the comments have had a prune. Hardly any thorny ones now!

Police searching for Madeleine McCann are trying to trace six British cleaners working in Portugal when she vanished.

The group were said to have been in the Praia da Luz holiday complex when Madeleine – who would now be nine years old - disappeared in 2007.

A Met Police spokesman said speaking to individuals was part of its review, adding: "Officers are reviewing all of the material in relation to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

"This is routine procedure as part of the ongoing review."

The officers became aware of the six to eight British workers, said to have used a white van, after going over evidence from the original Portuguese investigation.

Now they are asking owners whose properties overlook the apartment where Madeleine stayed for information about the group.

One property owner had a letter from Scotland Yard which says officers are checking who was in the flats at the time.

Madeleine was nearly four when she disappeared in the Algarve as her parents dined at a tapas restaurant nearby. Her parents Kate and Gerry have campaigned tirelessly since to trace their daughter.

The most ridiculous aspect of all this is the McCanns had their Apartment cleaned by a Portugese woman employed by OC and her statement is on file.

I am just wondering if this is the Press retaliating against Gerry for joining Hacking Off when they were so ready to print all these ridiculous sightings provided by Clarence which kept Madeleine "findable".

Ordinarily Parentdish will allow comments with regards to matters concerning children... I wonder why they have closed this facility for this story ongoing pantomime?

I think the days are gone when any article about Madeleine sold more Papers . If the intent was to release this latest fairytale to prove Madeleine is "findable" it has failed miserably.

A mixed group of 6 to 8 British people perfectly describes the remaning Tapas 7 members........they might as well have stayed at home if they found themselves doing loads of cleaning jobs.

Fronting the 'hacked off' campaign, and biting the hand that fed and nurtured them, and made them mega rich, is a huge own goal for kate and gezz.

Morning pennylane, yes , as Matthew Parris said in The Spectator article a few years ago "If it is discovered that the McCanns had anything to do with Madeleine's disappearance, the Press will be merciless." The Press don't want to be Carter Rucked obviously, but they are feeding the public these "news" items tongue in cheek to embarass the McCanns.

Hacked Off Campaign was criticised by journalist this morning on LBC, he asked them for details of the politicians who they had been lobbying but they would not give the names, they also said there were no minutes of their meetings, jounalist was making the point they go on about transparency but their own campaign doesnt appear to be too transparent.

I don't think they would meet that often cherry1 because they live so far apart . This action group only got together as victims of Phone Hacking , not necessarily as ardent supporters of Press Regulation before then I suspect.

Part of the huge queue of vans stopped by the Met in the determined search to apprehend 6-8 Cleaners wanted for questioning by the McCann's police force.

I think that white van men are getting sick and tired of this farce, and the public thinking they are involved
in this case. This poor guy has certainly had enough!

I'm scratching my head now because I thought it said earlier there was no reference at all in the PJ files?
