Without going into details, I am led to believe that SY know exactly what they are doing and it could be that the McCanns are NOT being kept informed on the review , which is probably why they have sent Clarence to see what he can find out.

He's so "clever" that he a) has not managed to blag a twitter name without an underscore and b) his account isn't even verified. How do we even know that that is actually the real Clarence Mitchell? It could well be a loon impersonating him, and I suspect that it probably is!
