Scuffles as Germany pushes back against austerity


Anti-capitalist protesters scuffled with police in the German city of
Frankfurt, in a second day of demonstrations targeting the European Central
Bank, to protest its role in pushing for austerity cutbacks as a way to fight
the continent's debt crisis.

This is starting to look very serious , Germany, of all Countries feeling the effect of the austerity measures. It also shows a weakness in the EU that after over 3 years thay have not managed to ease the situation. It is looking increasingly unlikely Angela Merkel will win the Election in September.
