Singer and former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has been
arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs.

The arrest comes a day after the Metropolitan Police confirmed it had
"received information concerning the alleged supply of illegal drugs at a
central London location".

It follows a report in a tabloid newspaper that suggested Contostavlos acted
as a go-between by introducing a journalist to an alleged supplier.

The 24-year-old is said to have boasted to the reporter: "Half my phone book
sells it. Of course I can get it for you. Half the guys I know are drug
dealers."

The Sun On Sunday claimed half an ounce of cocaine changed hands following a
deal that took place at London's Dorchester Hotel.

Contostavlos's management is yet to comment on the claims.

The singer, who found fame with the band N-Dubz, was recently dropped as a
judge on The X Factor after two series.
