I don't see similarities but I do see two sets of neglectful parents regardless. I wonder who was looking after the child when the father went out?  How could he bring a stranger back to the appartment when it was supposed a 'family' holiday?  Who located the child?

There must be more to this story which hasn't been reported.  With the McCann's, they went out every night even after Madeleine apparently told them that she and Sean were crying.

Perhaps The Mail is trying to convey the message of both parties being useless parents! I don't suppose we will hear any more about the Bali incident now that the boy has been found safe but I'd love to know more details.

If Madeleine ever made that remark - and that's a big if in view of Kate's economy with the truth - it would I think make more sense if she was talking about the twins; could "Me" have been her nickname for Amelie?

It's hardly likely that Amelie would have slept through Madeleine and Sean crying.

It's hardly likely that Sean and Amalie could off slept through whilst Madeleine was crying for 1hr 15m on the Tuesday either.
