The new site name had to be changed the notdeleted words in the website name have caused problems.
The new site will now be http://www.justpamalam.co.uk/  
 
It will take a while to upload the site, so a few problems will happen along the way.
 
It will be at least 24 hours for the site to show up on line

Thanks Pamalam........just think, if the Portugese had justifiably charged the Mccanns with "neglect causing harm ", we wouldn't still be discussing this case.

I think we would still be discussing this case even if "neglect causing harm" charges were made. imo the reason the McC s have carried on the "search" is be totally exonerated from any responsibility for Madeleine 's disappearance. Its all down to the "abductor" and not that the children were left without adult presence allowing Madeleine to disappear, if that is what happened.

I disagree. they would have had appeals galore to the UK Government, to the world at large through the media. there would have been an even bigger circus than there is now. all kinds of made up cultural differences would be shouted about and the media would be even more awful about the PJ than they are now jimo.

Well tanzi, they admitted they went out every night, Mrs Fenns Statement and Madeleine has not been found so the McCanns, even with their supporters couldn't wriggle out of that, neither could the U.K. Govenernment interfere unless they asked for the sentence to be served in the U.K for the sake of their families and the rwins.

Sadly, one way or another, more openly or not, I think it happens everywhere...

Well what's the point in having such a Law if it isn't administered. ??? I can't remember the exact details but a British guy was jailed in Portugal for some offence Claudia. An example would have had to be made of the McCann case to deter anyone else leaving their children alone in a strange place . However, we all know Madeleine was not "Abducted " and the Portugese Judiciary having spent over E 1 million would have wanted justice, as would the Portugese people, many of whom spent time searching when the Parents didn't.

We know of the interference by government so why didn't the Portugese close the case and save themselves a lot of time and mponey, didn't they set up another "review" using Oporto Police. Claudia, I have alot of sympathy for the Portugese being dragged into some Political cauldron, but if they had closed the case when they knew there would not be a Trial, thwart the McCanns by declaring the case closed.

Missing children cases are never closed unless someone is charged or the investigation finds what happened. Madeleine's case was the exception. No other unsolved missing child case was closed or shelved.
