HideHo, you are doing right by not responding, they say they want to debate but have no interest in debating, only being abusive and rude, I have tried over the years many times to debate with them politely, don't resort to calling them names, don't resort to being abusive, but all anyone seems to get when you try to debate is rudeness, abuse, lies, insults, name calling etc. etc., Therefore it is pointless and a waste of time. They are on the forums to intimidate, disrupt, threaten, and nothing else from what I have observed, no real and genuine interest in what happened to Madeleine and no real and genuine interest in uncovering the truth. Very sad, all game playing in the name of a little girl.

You should be watching the #mccann tag on Twitter this morning. It's wonderful entertainment, but very sad that it's on a hashtag for a missing wee girl.

Oh I don't actually post anything on that hashtag, I have no desire to revert to a school playground, but sometimes it is interesting to just sit and watch.  

I was a late arrival to the forums in 2011 and didn't know anything about the activities of the trolls and disrupters. I honestly thought that you could have a sensible debate with them in the way that you would with someone face to face.

It didn't take too long for me to realise otherwise! I really tried hard, "speaking" to them in the way that I would like to be spoken to but they just couldn't respond in a similar way.

They really are on a level with children venting their spleen against anyone who doesn't think that the latest singing sensation is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

On twitter I have posted FACTS from the PJ files and still been accused of lying! That says it all about these people.

I've posted links on news sites recently to the police reports and also the new e-book which has all the problems with the story in one place.

Of course up popped the pros to insult the police and the writer of the book and usually the dreaded word "hater" word appears - no chance then of any sensible discussion!

I wonder what it is that attracts some people to the McCanns; it certainly isn't their charming personalities.
