They also showed a two-part film about Jon Benet Ramsay on True Entertainment channel earlier on in the week. I had not realised the parallels. The parents fleeing the state; refusing to talk to, or co-operate with, the police; claiming that they were too traumatised to talk to the DA but giving press and TV interviews all over the place; hiring a PR spokesman and a top notch lawyer. Funny, that.

That case is so peculiar in ways that even the McCann one isn't!
 
Whoever was responsible - be it the parents or someone else - why go to the trouble of staging a kidnap for ransom and then leave the poor child's body in the house? I can't get my head around that at all.

And the EXACT amount the Ramseys had in their account too....coincidence?

It was a very similar amount to a bonus paid to John Ramsey, not the exact amount if I remember rightly.
