Irish current affairs website busy on maddie topic
there's an Irish website politics.ie which has had an ongoing but not very active discussion thread on madeleine. Today after the crimewatch it has been the most active thread, often ahead of the Irish budget thread - today was budget day in Ireland.
the interesting thing is that while in the past the few posts were on the whole, that the parents were not involved, now the majority of posters are well informed and refer to the mccannfiles. The Mccanns have had great support from Ireland - remember the Donegal trip!

Yes, a lot of the early hype was aimed towards Ireland with the reports of the Donegal trip (if it ever happened which I doubt) intended to make Madeleine seem like a little lost colleen and the good people of that country display their generosity.
There are some real head-banging pros on the site - the same as most places - but a lot of people who doubt the McCanns too.
