Yes, I think so:

Those videos are evidence of a sort, although evidence was not found to corroborate their findings, every time I see that I find myself believing that the dogs were alerting not to the expectations of the handlers but of something.

Kate found hope and whatever, in the videos because dogs can't speak. I would be freaking out, innocent or guilty, at the sight of the videos.

They are only not telling if you know that your child could not have died in that apt not quibbles about how long she'd been there before being removed. yes the dogs were called back to see the McCann's hire car but I didn't see anyone around telling them to go ballistic in the closet. That and the missing tennis bag and Kate's unsolicited comments about her 6 death certificates with Cuddle Cat with her, put a red flag up.

Who told Eddie to snatch up Sean's shirt in that line up?

Who takes their child's toy on a death certification?

Why would you if you believed the dogs' evidence is faulty, come up with these justifications for why they smelled death on your clothes? Do you wear the same outfits on a solemn medical task as you do to go to Portugal and play tennis at a resort?

The alerts need evidence; in the book kate cites a case where the judge was saying that the dogs alerted in this Zapata case, and no body wad found but we know that Zapata did confess to murdering his wife and keeping her in the basement and in the storage shed the dogs alerted to; so the dogs were right in that case despite no body being found there (it was disposed of elsewhere).

If you don't believe the dogs then don't. They're rubbish. It's voodoo science. Don't give reasons why they did smell death on you or could have.

A few points so far - CMTV states the reconstruction will go ahead and that the parents have showed their availability to attend; - the former Minister of the Interior (MAI) Rui Pereira said the McCanns should be constituted as arguidos until the end of the inquest; - The McCanns have requested to be assistants to the process

CMTV is a very small TV channel associated with the newspaper Correio da Manhã. Its audience is microscopic because it's a new channel on cable TV.

Thanks "Claudia79", I was hoping the video would be shown to a larger audience with "call-in" comments/questions allowed as well as observations from commentators.

The call for them to become arguidos comes from a former Minister of the Interior, so presumably he will have no input in the final decision. He's just saying what he believes. No power, but does he still have any political influence?
I agree with what he says, btw. All right-thinking people would want to see them thus labelled once again.

But wouldn't the T7 also have be made arguidos? Otherwise we have the same problem as before - "Well we're available, but our friends have declined ..."

Yes. I have asked the question but not found an answer. What did the PJ take from the villa ? Was it every last item of clothing or a selection. Who collected it ?

If it was not present in the villa on the day of collection, then it could not have been taken. Was the car checked for belongings ? They had planned to go to Huelva, they may have packed belongings.

We simply cannot state the PJ were given everything.
