Is this the one? There appears to be nothing more recent than July 2012.

Yes of course it is NBY, I didn't say it was recent, merely very interesting and maybe several Members like myself have never read it.
Note how many Policemen , as part of the Review Case, are mostly Senior .....yet all they have come up with is an Efit and dropped Tanners Statement. This could cost Cameron the next election....serves him right.!!!

I thought the Rebecca Brooks one at the top was interesting, the Sun put pressure and "persuaded" ie threatened the government to put T May on the front page every day if the case was not reopened?
As with so much about this case there can be two interpretations and two explanations. Brooks' is that the government were persuaded and thought the reopening was a good idea, and another interpretation is that they were attempting to pressurize the PM to do something so that they could sell more papers and get more book excerpts or whatever, from mcCanns.
The paper should not have any ability to threaten the government nor should the government respond to such with anything other than "get out of my office" if that attempt is made. The mere idea makes the sales of tabloids a prime mover of what the government does or does not do - it is blackmail.

What are the charges against her? Phone hacking as a Brooks-led policy of NOTW?

Notice how she tried to duck out of what she said to Cameron, whose Brother coincidentally was the judge at the first televised Trial in the U.K. Also, apparently Rebekahs Lawyers are from the same Partnership. Cameron will pay for this at the election, as he will over the cost of the Investigation.fred wrote:Brookes should have stuck to shagging Andy, she'd be in less bother now!

No, it is to do with her other activities. I put this here because it related to the McCanns , so I suggest anything else to do with the Trial to avoid a mixup of posts I will move acopy of the link over to Armageddon
