Man Cold

I have the most horrendous Man Cold since Man Colds were invented. Over the past 36 hours, I've sneezed and coughed for England, worked through a box of tissues and I'm happily in the process of od..ing on Paracetamol. I've ran out of whiskey and just had the last lemon, so I'm reduced to drinking coffee and tea. Help.....

Thank you cherry for the sympathy, the offer of tissues and the hug but, I have a huge supply of tissues it's the Whiskey and Lemons I've ran out of.

Thanks tanszi, me too. I can't sleep properly with my blocked nose and sandpaper throat. Mrs S has taken the spare room so she can get some rest at least.

Honey is good if mixed with warm lemon and whiskey.... and we don't have any Vic. Ah well I'll just have to suffer..

Thanks for the offer Lioned, but I can't drink brandy, wine doesn't seem quite right for such a desperate medical condition and crisps would put the finishing touches to my throat.

 

Well I know what I do to victor when he's got 'man flu'


He actually had it two weeks ago.


He sat their snivelling for england one Sunday and it got on my nerves so much i threatened him with the frying pan.


He soon stopped.

Instead of whiskey ..sucking wine gums is a help for your throat ..because of the glycerine.

I've got a chest infection and on antibiotics and prednisilone... damn. No more whiskey till the course is finished.

Hope you have improved ms.I got better but now i got worse again,this man flu really sucks.

I'm the same Lioned although mine was a cold rather the flu.... I've had the course of Anti Biotics and Prednisilone but I'm still not well, I've been on warm Teachers/Honey/Lemon/Paracetamol therapy since they've finished. I'm enjoying proving that the produce of Scottish distilleries are far better at health promotion than those from Spanish drug companies.
