Just wondering ......

When are the Gaspar statements going to be addressed. After all ..these are very serious and everywhere on the net.

Has anyone been C R for speaking about it. You have to wonder how a family lives with this awful statement on a daily basis ...in this case of constant suing about everything else but the kitchen sink ..maybe its just me but .surely this would be a main contender..

Perhaps it's because they have no sensible, believable, logical answer for such a 'ludicrous statement', or 'it's so ridiculous, it isn't worthy of a reply'.
But you are right, they don't seem to be paying the Gaspar Statement  no mind, no more than they are offering any explanation as to why Kate refused to answer the 48 questions.

Any real mother of a missing child would be asking her own question....

Trouble is the Gasper 'statement' is just one womans opinion that Payne 's actions were suggestive.What are the police to do about it realistically ?
Certainly you would have it in mind particularly if his bathtime visits were confirmed.But that alone maybe not enough to get a warrant to raid his house and take his computers away.

Maybe the police have his phone bugged,i dont suppose they will tell us !

Well if Mr. Redwood reads this forum hes getting plenty of clues.

What I am trying to say is from the Payne's point of view. How the hell would you live with this on a daily basis being banded around the net especially lately on the new forums where it is new news to people just joining.

I for one would definitely want to clear my name for wife and children's sake...whatever pact was made. Why the silence.

My guess is he would be well advised not to draw any attention to himself so long as its contained on the internet amongst us forum nutters.
Maybe his group of immediate friends dont care !

With him being involved with the McCanns I'd think his circle of immediate friends will be few and far between anyway...

Considering their is a child missing and the mccanns thought or think that a pedophile has her....it stuns me that the gasper statement hasn't been looked into or if it has.....why hasn't it been dismissed PUBLICLY by SY.

And since on CW Tanner has been 'exonerated' as has Oldfield .....why hasn't Payne been too.


After all, it is SY's intention to 'exonerate' them ONE BY ONE until all that is left is the parents and SY have already said they are 'innocent'....SY had their chance to do this on the latest CW.

The Paynes have been more than ignored, they have been completely whooshed by SY. They were not even mentioned by name. Why ??

Ignoring the Gaspars was damage limitation, IMO. Gerry is big time implicated as well as Payne. He was speaking to Gerry, who did not get up from the table and deck him, as any normal person would, before taking himself and his family as far away as possible from Payne.

I think it's one of the main reasons they went after Amaral and his book. They will claim its an Internet nutter myth, but it's documented in the book, as is Yvonne Martin. Her input starts the joining of the dots. On the one hand you can claim the Gaspars were being vexatious, perhaps, how can Yvonne Martin, Child Protection Officer, be explained away ? She can't be, I don't think.

Best to ignore it, it's all they can do. After all their attempts to explain away the dogs were not at all successful. This is one subject they do not want to approach publically.

I agree with you Krisy, why has DP not spoken out? He is hiding from it and hoping it will just go away, well it hasn't and it will keep coming up. He will also have taken advice and been advised about damage limitation! If I was not guilty of things said about me, I would shout my innocence from the roof tops.  

So glad you all agree ..I just do not understand how anyone could carry on as normal ...working ..family life with this awful stigma hanging over them.

I seem to remember in the early days it was printed in one of the newspapers ...as I am sure I posted it on Ambers Sky thread. Then all went quiet.

Another thing ...now if my daughter had been "taken" whatever ..and one of my friends had suffered in respect of their good name being brought into question ..I would feel obliged to speak out and clear their name.

Maybe that's just me ...
