Oh, Phil
"but Gerry and Kate have not told them where she is.."
"they think that maybe she's with.."

Maybe Kate and Gerry could write a Xmas 'message' to the twins, 2013, and TELL them 'WHERE Madeleine is and WHO they think Madeleine is with'

Re: PRICELESS!
Either the twins are told nothing and are getting on with their lives and never mention Madeleine or...
It's drummed into them night and day as the parents are worried about them getting onto the Internet and finding the truth.
If it's the latter then i feel very sorry for them, their heads must be well and truly messed up.

It's a load of codswallop.!!1 On the second Anniversary in the Channel 4 Documentary Kate is painting with the twins and draws their attention to the word Madeleine she had painted asking what the word was, she had to prompt the twins to say Madeleine.

Re: PRICELESS!
They were 27 months when she disappeared, they would have forgotten they had ever had a sister, inside of six months or a year.
What do you remember from 2 years of age? Only the most awful thing that happened - my daughter said she remembers a particular kind of thorn we had in the back garden because she had stepped on one, when we lived in that house, which we moved from the following year. Nothing else. Not Christmas, not going to Disneyland, nothing else but "we had these really terrible thorns behind the house" -
they can't possibly remember Madeleine with any real sense of memory. What they will remember is what they have been told or photos they have seen, videos. Mainly they will remember the Story about Madeleine.
There is no way to keep kids off the Internet after a certain age, and then the story they have been told will start to be assimilated into the bigger picture. Even now I imagine they see the red tops in the shops and their friends know more. Are you going to ban them from You Tube forever?
They may just have a single question to ask, like the last one their sister had for her parents regarding that holiday: why didn't you come when she cried?
The idea of being left is very frightening to young kids as well as the idea of being lost, kidnapped, or dead. But all of those things or at least all but the last one is true.
It would be hard to explain to kids - if you say it's not just Madeleine, sadly thousands of children go missing every year, it's not uncommon - then the obvious question is, why the HELL did you leave us then?
