The Judicial Police are searching for a 40 year old man who worked as a driver of The Ocean Club tourist resort where Madeleine McCann disappeared. According advances the Daily News, the man was responsible for transporting tourists from the enterprise to Faro airport.


The Praia da Luz, near Lagos, is again being Local search by the Judicial Police. This time the desparecido is the former driver of the resort where the McCanns were staying with their children in May 2007.

According to the Daily News, the former driver of the minibus The Ocean Club, which should have about 40 years of age. After the incident, the man, single, left the project, worked in a bar and is unemployed at this time.

"They've been here a few days ago, three individuals who identified themselves as being of the Judicial Police and wanted to know where a man who worked in the company The Ocean Club when Maddie disappeared resides. At the time used to perform transport tourists from Faro airport to the apartments of the project in Praia da Luz Then at the end of the holidays, took customers to the airport to return to their respective countries. Was accustomed to always use the phone, "he told Daily News an inhabitant of Praia da Luz

Described as "quiet and polite," the man gave a new presence of PJ in Praia da Luz, a few days after four British investigators from Scotland Yard were in a meeting in Faro.

On the table of the meeting, which are present Cramo Mota, responsible for the Board of Southern PJ, and Ana Paula Rito, the coordinator of the Criminal Investigation Department in Portimão, was the request of the Portuguese police cooperation for the realization of several attempts .

He is described in that quote as single. The Jose Silva statement says he used his phone to call his wife. So not the same man ?

I would bet many of the workers in PDL move employment regularly, in particular because it is a summer resort. So if this man was driving guests, he would be let go maybe around October when the tourists have gone ?

How they going to find all these people if the ocean club either sacked or never renewed their contracts.......they could be anywhere, they could be dead....it could take years to track this lot down!!!!!!

It always surprised me that they seemed to have never gone outside the village. It must have been an awfully boring holiday, just knocking balls backwards and forwards over a net all week.
