It was a precautionary measure because the children came from Africa, someone probably leaked the info to the Press.

Someone who thought if the test was positive it would be the first case in the U.K. and cause all sorts of problems chasing up passengers on the flight.
Marky, there is no end in sight at the moment because even though a cure has been found it will take months to produce enough to stop the spread. Conditions in the African Countries are very poor which doesn't help.

the chances of an ebola outbreak in the west are next to zip but of course that won't stop people panicking will it, which is quite possibly why this non story made the media. keep them frightened and you keep them under control.

Marky , that's a bit strong The fact is that Ebola is not yet under control and with 300 volunteers from the U.K it is probably worrying for their Families and the Press , as we know , will probably be waiting for the first casualty to report

Despite all efforts, so many volunteers Badboy there seems no let up. Liberia is economically broke and people in outlying areas are searching for food even though Ebola has affected their village.

Badboy, this line is from the thread i posted earlier.
"The end of the outbreak is not in sight, the United Nations says - with 500 new Ebola cases reported in Sierra Leone each week." Problem is, the Chemical Companies can't produce a cure quickly.....who is going to pay ??

Badboy,, the U.S. is one Country withdrawing it's support for the Ebola Infected Countries because their undoubted generosity is not being used properly. . The Hospital erected in Sierra Leone is not being used , the population of those most infected Countries are still refusing to have dead bodies buried and to be fair to the people , they are poor, not having enough food and don't understand the need for hygiene or what symptoms to look for .
