The EU will be relieved because Putin was sabre rattling about supplying to the EU because of the sanctions. However, since Russia is on its knees financially he has had to back down.

America has sent troops to Iraq, but will not interfere in the Ukraine crisis even though so many people have been killed. In fact , no Country has come to thee aid of Ukraine and the UN has not interfered and questioned the blatant help Russia is giving to the seperatists

Putin has already done a deal with Ukraine marky over the Gazprom Bill Ukraine owes........but the oil pipes servicing Germany etc are in Ukraine so Putin obviously sees the need to own Ukraine . Russia is facing Recession and not all Russians agree what he is doing to Ukraine is acceptable , especially since many Ukrainians are crossing the Border into Russia.

The Russian people living near the Border of Donetsk have witnessed a huge surge of it's people crossing over to Russia and are not very happy about it. This, together with the sanctions and the upcoming Report on the MH17 crash might just be enough to oust Putin.

Lavrov is telling Porky Pies, it has always been Putin starting to undermine and conquer Ukraine , even now, more troops are massing on the border of Donetsk. The danger is that the West will be sucked into this conflict , let European Countries get involved Britain has enough to cope with.
