Manchester United
In my opinion they where always going to struggle to keep up with the top four or five this season.Ferguson was not daft,he knew it was time to go so he left on a high and it was always going to be 'after the Lord Mayors show'.
No reason to think David Moyes couldnt have turned it around. He actually has done better than Ferguson did in his first year.
Many of the United fans think they have a devine right to be top of the tree so now they have a little wake up call.
And the United board may have jumped the gun a bit sacking Moyes as it could easy happen again.
No reason to think Moyes is anything other than a good manager and decent bloke and i hope he takes them for £10 mill now.
As for United i wouldnt be surprised if it takes them 5 years to catch up now.
£400 million in debt and no Champions league.
If they dont hit the ground running next season i can see the Glaziers getting some stick.

Yes it is.His sons,i believe, have pledged to continue and so it should be business as usual, though the family have never been popular with many of the fans for some reason.
