While I haven't read all of the article,  I find it interesting to see that the  University Professor  Paul Sargento, who is also a criminologist  appears to support Goncalo Amaral's views.

I also find it interesting to see that others have come to the conclusion, that Scotland Yard are following orders and Operation Grange is nothing but a reputation management exercise on behalf of the McCanns.

I have always believed that the McCanns were being protected by the British Government, because they had knowledge of some sordid secret that must never be brought to the public eye. I still believe that the McCanns are being protected by Redwood, for the same reason. I came to that conclusion, when I heard Andy Redwood, tell the media that the perpetrators of Madeleine's disappearance, the McCanns along with their mates, were not persons of interest.

I hope that this documentary, shows how the PJ's efforts were thwarted every step of the way, by the Portuguese and British Government. If this issue is not shown in the documentary, the PJ will once again be shown as an incompetent agency.

I also hope that this documentary, shows many of the 'die hard' McCann supporters, that the McCanns are the ones responsible for Madeleine's disappearance and they hindered the GNR and the PJ at every opportunity, in their quest to save their own skins.

I'm glad also Mr Amaral stipulated that everything the mccanns, their friends and relatives have said is written in the PJ files and can NEVER be erased, changed or manipulated for their convenience.

Nice little snippet also or rather as Mr Amaral states...chit chat....David Payne was seen on the Mccanns balcony by Mrs Fenn at 7pm on the night off Madeleines disappearance .


Gerry McCann was not at the table at 10pm when the alarm was raised as two witnesses have stated.

Well put kathybelle, my beliefs are the same as yours, although how anyone can say, (especially anyone in authority,) that the Mccanns and friends are not persons of interest is literally quite beyond me. The story changes and downright lies alone of these people should still be ringing bells, well clanging them loud and long, but no, the glorious saints Mccanns and co MUST be portrayed as perfect parents when in fact they are anything but. Indeed something is very very wrong with this case and has been from the very beginning. It really is corruption at a high level.

Thank you, you have also raised some good points in your post. You quite rightly state, that this is corruption at a high level and to me it only enforces my belief that the British Government, had a vested interest in making sure the McCanns were not brought to justice.

Especially this bit at the end:

Most importantly, they pointed out that nothing – short of being accidentally transported there – would justify their presence in the luggage compartment of the car where the dog detected cadaver odour.

Therefore, I suggest the Policia Judiciária who, as far as I know, still has those hairs; send them to a laboratory competent enough to determine its DNA profile without the need for the hair roots.

(GA) Yes, there are those who say it is possible so … let them send those hairs for analysis now!

Probably they will loose less time and save money, who knows? They might even be able to advance a little bit more with the investigation.

This (farce?) has been going for too long!

Let them send it to Holland or Germany – where I am told there are laboratories perfectly capable to handle this type of analysis. It would be much easier (…)

But their increasingly vitriolic "Forum Master" has stated that it wouldn't have mattered if the parents were asleep in the next room as justification of their neglect. Of course this "overlooks" a number of factors including the fact that if there was an abduction it was via an unlocked door as there was no foreced entry.

I think I may have accessed the McCs fb page 5 times in the last 7 years. the webmaster seems particularly arrogant and vile. words they used to describe those who don't believe the McCs, I know there have been some awful posters at different forums and I don't agree with that either, but if anyone is going to criticise them they have to above scrutiny. jimo

Some people think it could be Kate herself - the words arrogant and vile seem to have been created for her - but I think that her equally unpleasant mother is a possibility.
