Borrowed Time?
"“We obviously want Madeleine back number one, but we want an answer whatever,” she said. “I’m not underestimating the blow of hearing bad news that your child has been killed, because obviously we’re not going to go ‘OK, at least we know.’ But I’ve spent hours thinking about that and, each time, I still come up thinking we need to know. Regardless, we need to know.” Kate McCann in the London Standard May 1 2014.
Well that one seemed a bit whiffy when it came out last week, didn't it?
"While the search for missing Maddie continues the McCanns must also consider the possibility that her body will be found in police digs." The Mirror, May 4. Hmm.
The Mirror has read very oddly the last few days; that was why we referred to it yesterday. The tone, as well as the content, of the stories has changed.
We don' t believe for a moment that the police dig story originates with Mitchell: he'd have a nervous breakdown even contemplating leaking something as frighteningly close to home as that. No, this one's different from all the other dodgy stories. Just as Kate McCann' s related comment sounds very different from everything she's said in seven years.
Christ, the hunted looks, the deadbeat resignation of this weekend – somebody with a more active imagination than ours might come to the conclusion that nice Mr Redwood had responded to desperate pleas and agreed to hold back until after Memorial Day 2014 was over.
But what do we know?

Yes, very nasty. Calling criminal profiling pseudo-science. I wonder what Blacksmith's problem is with Pat Brown?
Pat is 100% correct, in that given the evidence, the McCanns are still the best (and only) suspects in this case. Any profiler would come to the same conclusion.
What Blacksmith fails to note is that SY are partaking in their own form of criminal profiling, however, they are completely ignoring the evidence.
Their profling has focused on only one possible scenario (abduction), even though there is no physcial evidence supporting this scenario.
So far their profiling has come up with 1) a burglar(s) in a burglary gone wrong who took nothing except a dead child and 2) a stinky man who molested 7-12 year old girls (stealing none of them).
SY attempts to profile the abductor are clearly failing.

I wonder what his problem is with Pat Brown and Tony Bennett. (Dramaqueen who thinks he, and only he, can know everything?)
I like some of his posts, but these tantrum throwing about Pat and Tony are just ...well..tantrums. Plain nasty.

I agree with you Weiss, I've said before that he comments on the case on the Internet same as we do. He's no better.

I'm not sure if it's just one person or several writing blogs here.
If it is one person, I suspect that his output depends on what he has been drinking. At times his ranting is on a level with degenerates like muratfan while at others he is very good.

"Calling criminal profiling pseudo-science. I wonder what Blacksmith's problem is with Pat Brown?"
-----------------------------------------
So WHY do SY/MET 'employ' criminal 'profilers' then?
Waste of money!
Bit like employing 'specialist' (drugs, money, cadavar, blood. etc.,) dogs, that don't 'alert' to ANYTHING!
Waste of money!
Yet the SY/MET still take these 'useless' dogs with them on 'busts/searches'
Waste of 'time' and 'money' there, according to BS.
Weird, huh?

Perhaps the BS agenda is to convince us all that the SY investigation is genuine? Hence - down with all those who query it?
