There are a large number of Muslims in Belgium, as there also are in Holland and France. Why aren't you asking that they might be "troubled" countries?

Probably because there is no news coming from Belgium about them.

That shooting could have happened anywhere. And indeed a very similar one happened in America not that long ago - again, outside a Jewish Museum. That would suggest to me that ANY country with a Jewish Museum (including Scotland, England) could be next. It doesn't make Belgium any more "troubled" than anywhere else.

Belgium is a fairly benign country that will have the occasional loon and thats it.

I must admit I have been trying to work out the point of this thread myself. I can see how the shooting at a Jewish Museum is newsworthy and of interest to some of our members. But it's a HUGE jump to assuming that Belgium is somehow a "troubled" country, all the Belgians I know (and believe me I know hundreds!   ) are so laid back they're practically horizontal (and that includes the Walloons).

We were without a proper Government for 10 months Badboy, and nothing very terrible happened.

No i dont think you are confused as i remember it took a long time to produce a Governmet after the last election (about 18 months actually),

But i dont remember war or Civil unrest breaking out !
