Froch v Groves

The biggest fight in this country for years takes place tonight at Wembley in front of a full house of 80000 baying fans.

Now i have been to Wembley a number of times and if you are up in the second or third tiers they will look like ants,But still it is sold out.

Froch is apparently promised a 'purse' of £8mill and Groves £2mill.

That may sound a lot but i believe if they put on a good show they are worth every penny,obviously the promoters thought so.

The fight is too close to call but i doubt it will go the distance.Hopefully all those fans will get their moneys worth and the fighters will not suffer lasting damage for their efforts.

Talking of (the old) Wembley, from my visits, when Man U were good   , my abiding memory is the smell of pee and having to wade through it too!!    
Hope the new one has plenty of toilets!

Like you say, too close to call.

The New Wembley has loads of toilets even some for Ladies.   

The old Wembley was like watching football whilst bathing your feet in 6" of urine,a truly awful place but had a much better atmosphere than the New Wembley which is far to sterile for an old fashioned football fan like me who remembers having to pee up the wall at the back of the stand next to the peanut lady.

The Millennium Stadium at Cardiff is a fantastic ground and far better design.

And if your lucky Katherine Jenkins sings to you (She did me anyway).   

Carl Froch has won.

Froch knocks out Groves in round 8 with a massive punch that looked bad.
