Well i think we all knew that.Who in their right mind would select a country not really known for any kind of professional football and pretty much a desert !
The 'who will hold the World Cup' is such a massive decision its bound to involve cash in envelopes and free goods and services,shopping sprees for the wives while their podgy husbands negotiate their spoils.

Nothing new,move on you might say !

No,common sense is trying very hard to break through the murky World of fat old men and corruption is as good a call as any to declare it void to save face for an incredibly daft decision.

But it is too hot to play football.

The human body cannot cope with that.If you look at the stats for a footballer in a game they can actually run about 12 miles or more during a game.And its high tempo.They will loose too much body fluid and it will be quite dangerous.
So now they are talking about having it in the winter.That means interrupting every professional league in the World !

To host a World Cup you need 8 World class stadia.Qatar has the money but no footballing tradition or structure to use them after the event.

The decision was corrupt and they will change it now.Its done them a favour actually.
